1.4 Log Files
Whenever you access the Internet, certain information is automatically transmitted from your Internet browser and stored by us in log files. These log files are retained for a short period to identify malfunctions and ensure security (e.g., investigating attempted attacks) and are subsequently deleted. If further retention is necessary for evidence purposes, these log files are exempt from deletion until the incident is fully resolved and may be provided to investigating authorities if needed. Log files may include the complete or partial IP address, depending on the circumstances outlined in the relevant section.

1.5.1 Transfer of Data to Other Responsible Parties

All service providers are bound by confidentiality and legal compliance obligations. These providers may also include other companies within the LAPP Group.

1.5.3 Transfer to Recipients Outside the EEA

This service primarily helps distinguish whether inputs are made by a human or through fraudulent machine or automated processes, which represents a legitimate interest on our part under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. 3.3 Google Web Fonts

Our site utilizes web fonts provided by Google LLC, located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, to ensure a consistent and visually appealing display of fonts. When you visit our site, your browser downloads these web fonts into its cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

4. Content Delivery Network of Microsoft Azure

To optimize the loading times of our website, we use a Content Delivery Network (CDN) service provided by Microsoft Azure, offered by Microsoft Corporation, located at One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. The use of CDN services is intended to improve performance and represents a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

As part of this service, personal data may be transmitted to the USA. This transmission is based on European Standard Contractual Clauses, through which Microsoft assures compliance with European data protection laws for its services.

5. Social Plugins

Our online services use social plugins from various social networks, which are described individually in this section. When these plugins are used, your Internet browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the respective social network. This connection allows the provider to receive information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our online service, even if you do not have an account with the provider or are not logged in. Log files, including your IP address, may be directly transmitted from your browser to the provider's server and stored as needed. 5.1 Social Plugins with 2-Click Solution

To protect your privacy, we use a 2-click solution for social plugins. This means that when you visit a page on our site containing these plugins, they are initially deactivated. The plugins will only be activated when you click on the button provided, preventing automatic recording and evaluation of your visit by social network providers.

6. YouTube

Our online service utilizes the video platform YouTube, provided by YouTube, LLC, located at 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube allows for the playback of audio and video files.

When you access a page with an embedded YouTube player, a connection is established to YouTube to enable the transmission and playback of the video or audio file. During this process, data is transmitted to YouTube, which acts as the responsible entity for data processing. We do not control or take responsibility for how YouTube processes this data.
